Ines de la Fressange Paris has just opened its first shop in the Persian Gulf and its very first Parisian Café in the Al Hazm mall in Doha, Qatar.
The mall is literally sumptuous, a feat that emerged from the desert after more than 10 years of construction, the brainchild of Mohamed Al Emadi, a brilliant Qatari entrepreneur, real estate expert and lover of European aesthetics and know-how.Craftsmen from Italy and around the world worked with the finest materials, in particular the richest marble, to recreate a world of luxury and refinement, inspired in particular by the achievements of the Italian Baroque .There is, for example, a long covered (and air-conditioned) passageway worthy of the Galleria Victor-Emmanuel in Milan
The Ines de la Fressange boutique is located at one of the liveliest ends of the Mall, close to the restaurants where the local clientele likes to congregate after the hottest hours of the day
It's a place where you can cool off, meet friends and do your shopping in a soft, peaceful atmosphere.
Behind its magnificent marble façade, the boutique has been designed in the same way as the brand's flagship shop on rue de Grenelle in Paris, with the same colour scheme of black and powder pink, elaborate shelving, display tables, brass racks and so on
The product range includes international bestsellers, ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories, with a selection adapted to the tastes of local customers and the climate
A new feature is that the architects have created a slightly elevated terrace in front of the shop, a Café that looks as if it might be found in Paris: patterned tiled floors, tables and chairs based on the most typical Parisian bistro furniture, an olive tree at the centre of the space and larger-than-life Parisian waiters offering hot and cold drinks, as well as the kind of pastries we'd like to find more often in Paris..
